Mission Focused

Our Mission at Kimbara is to provide the highest quality products at affordable prices.  Extensive research has gone into ensuring that you will get a value beyond what is available anywhere else.  This will provide the greatest overall benefit, as it may offer help, health and healing - where otherwise not attainable.  We are dedicated to pure products and many with a Caribbean flair.

Any company can say high quality.  To us, it means clean ingredients.  Many of ours are grown in-house.  Yes, we use our own all-natural aloe, sage, hibiscus, lemongrass, varieties of mint, rue, eggs, raw honey and so much more. Some recipes are hundreds of years old from our Puerto Rican, African, Taino Indian and Spanish traditions. We only use natural fertilizer from ash and our own chicken manure and never any chemicals. Any ingredients procured outside of Kimbara are scoured with quality control protocols.

During processing we take extra care to never use metals that can be potentially harmful.  Every product has been used by staff and has had layers of testing, albeit with volunteers as well as professional unbiased third-party laboratories. We abide by the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and you can find many vegan products in our line.

When we say a product is a Broad Spectrum THC Free, Full Spectrum with less than the .3% allowable Delta 9 THC limits or is a Delta 8 THC product, rest assured that they are just that.  We work hard to earn your trust.  If you are happy, we are happy.

The innovative Ambassador Program allows for Kimbara to reach you and those around you in a more convenient, expeditious and economical way.

About

KIMBARA

The story on the design is very special. Livi and Julia knew that Kyara(†) would love a product that helps people with healing, physically and mentally. The signature cobalt blue bottle for her Cubbies and Cookie Monster seemed so fitting. Kimbara is from (Livi and) her calling herself KyaraKimbara as demonstrated with her Insta. The word "quimbara" takes us back to our roots with the meaning of 'enjoy and relax'  from our African healing, medicine man side. And who does not cook better with Celia Cruz playing in the background. The butterfly was an actual photograph taken recently (2020) by Olyvia while hiking at Starved Rock, where they frequented a few times when they were kids. This blue butterfly was everywhere. And we all know what 'Cojelo Con Take It Easy' means, the name of out signature product.

The Head Potion Master at Kimbara is Julia Rosario.  She was taught many natural remedies since childhood.  Her earliest memories were those in the garden with her grandpa, learning things like how purple sage can be made into a tea to help with sinuses. Throughout the years she has made many tinctures and home remedies sought out by family, friends and others.  She has always felt like she was part medicine man/witch doctor (in a good way.)

As a 22-year retired, combat veteran, she knows first-hand how post traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, migraines and other physical pain from injuries can tear down the body and harm the spirit.  The disparity of proper treatment for veterans has found a healing hand in cannabinoids (CBD.)  The choice to have relief for pain and anxiety without the psychoactive effects was a major game changer and healthy alternative to prescription drugs.

She has studied Horticulture, has a Pre-Law and a Mortuary Science degree and is currently pursuing an additional Biochemistry degree.  All of this is possible because of the support of family, friends, veteran organizations that keep her involved, her incredible chocolate lab service dog, George and CBD.

She is honored and blessed to guide those seeking greater health, peace and happiness.  The testimonials about children, pets, veterans, weight loss, diseases and other ailments that come in daily are more than humbling.
